After years of design and testing, Eagle Gear is proud to offer a new line of Wildland Packs aimed at saving lives by creating a window of opportunity in a burnover situation. The idea of the Drop & Run pack is to enable firefighters to quickly release the main pack if an emergency should occur.

Dropping the main pack enables firefighters to run up to 20% faster and suffer less fatigue in an escape situation. A single pull from a handle on the belt of the Drop & Run pack immediately releases the main pack from the webgear leaving the essentials; Fire Shelter, Water, and Communications.
